NVC Logistics Group VP on NMFTA Committee

Rockleigh, NJ. (September, 2011). NVC Logistics Group, a leader in value-added transportation services, today announced that Bill Dugan, Vice President National Accounts, is the newest member of the Classification Resource Committee (CRC) at the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA).

A key committee at NMFTA, the CRC is composed of owners, officers and employees appointed to represent carriers within a specific region. The CRC's principal responsibility is to advise the Commodity Classification Standards Board on matters relating to the content of the NMFC and the CCSB's Policies and Directives, as well as to make recommendations on related research activities. These recommendations, suggestions and proposals may cover: commodity descriptions, classes, rules, packaging definitions, specifications and requirements, bill of lading formats and terms, and other provisions contained in the NMFC. The two CRC subcommittees are Packaging and Bill of Lading. Membership on these committees is by appointment of the Chairman.

Most recently he was VP, Business Development at Novations.
